PPP preserved extant employment positions to a much greater degree than the other spending programs.

It's not about the people as individuals.

Prove it show me the % of employment you can confirm it saved.

I dont give a shit that you didnt read an article you just found to defend your statement you made up.

The economy is crashing NOW and why do you think that is happening??

The point being made here is that the cares act, failed.

And on top of it, the MORE THAN ENOUGH of it was spent on jetski's and stolen to prove that it wasnt worth the jobs (YOU FOR A FACT DO NOT KNOW) it saved.

You dont jack up interest rates to stop rampant inflation because you did great things with the economy.

We'd have greater scarcity now without it having kept production enterprises(refineries, manufacturing, hospitality and restaurants, etc) solvent during the Covid related economic slowdown.

(OK I quit. Was a nice try.)

If we want to talk about what we want and not what really happened.

Then I’m telling you that if we just shut down the banks and froze all of the mortgage payments and made rent not something that anyone had to pay then you wouldn’t of had to do all this stimulating the economy bullshit.

But they didn’t want to do that because they wanted to make sure that even though we weren’t working and there was no economy that the banks continue to collect their income.

I just hope that the government can figure out how to double the Social Security payouts or all the grandmas that we saved are gonna die.

OK I’m old enough to know that this is something that we already went through when we started welfare.

Like this one I can tell you is the main argument that they had in the late 70s between dad and son.

This was the main one this was above abortion this was above gun control this was above racism this was the one thing that separated Dad from Son.

And back then we had plenty of data that said look when people have nothing they revert to crime and when you give them just enough to feed themselves crime goes down!

So I just wanna be clear welfare definitely reduces crime but does it also reduce opportunity is the question that we were supposed to ask 40 years after we already determined all this stuff!!!!!

Edit: sorry if I sound upset reiwa kind of set me off this morning [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
