The point here was members of ya general public were ready, willing and able to head off a bad guy with a gun using your logic for why you need guns AND THE DUMB CUNTS STOPPED THEM.
Stopped them from using their god given, 2nd Amendment rights (your words) to deal with situations EXACTLY LIKE THAT.

I dont believe removing guns (in the US) would make any difference. Some numbers were tossed around that to rid the US of the shear numbers of guns would require 600 years @ 1 gun per minute.

US citizens otoh seem to have many situations that indicate that a gun weilding human makes a potential assailant choose the other guy to harrass or rob or whatever.

But i do wanna understand why the parents couldnt protect their kids in this situation. Fairly simple. Never once did i say take their guns, in fact at one point i agreed with the have a gun and stop a bad situation happening. Again reading helps. Again, deflecting with something unrelated. Good.
Simple question. Why did the cops (who dont have to protect anyone) actively stop other law abiding citizens from protecting their kids.
It is opposite to what was designed to happen.
Also, if old mate was off duty why didnt the cops stop off duty private citizen border guard from going in? Again, makes zero sense.
