HoN doesn't have shitty pastel graphics, HoN is a faster paced more difficult game, HoN is more "new" account friendly (if you can be noobie friendly in MOBA's).

HoN has direct DOTA ports, HoN has tons of cash prize tournaments. From someone who played DOTA, HoN, and LOL; The only reason LoL is doing any bit better is because S2 is retarded and got DDOS'd for a month straight.

I tried both, and prefer LoL. Seems a lot more fluid than HoN. You can compare the HoN community to LoL sort of like the red vs blue p99 population.
