$600 for the federal stamp I believe. I saw an fully auto uzi at a show recently for $12k.

I know someone who has quite a few fully auto submachine guns. Rich guy. Ex law enforcement now military contractor (Blackwater type). Also has a rare FFL license, I forget which one, but he can buy and sell stuff above the norm. Lets just say, its fun to go plinking with him.

This article exemplifies what is not allowed in the MSM. It is entitled: Despite wins, Dems face an identity crisis. But when you actually read what the identity crisis is you get:

Quote:
But the Sanders surge is unnerving other Democrats, who fear the party is verging too far to the left.

On Tuesday, Stephen Cloobeck, a major Democratic donor, expressed his frustration with the direction of the party and promised to stop donating if it becomes too progressive.

“I can tell you if we go far left, I’m out,” Cloobeck said on MSNBC. “I’m out. We need middle ground.”

“It drives me nuts,” Cloobeck added. “So much so it would make me quit the party. And I’ve made it very clear: I’ll cut your money off. And others will do the same. We’ve had enough. We need a new brand.”

Another donor interviewed by The Hill expressed the same fears — while also underlining worries that in resisting President Trump, Democrats haven’t come up with a compelling reason for voters to back their party.
So this crisis in identity is whether or not we should take rich Democrats money to change our platform? Of course an honestly written article entitled: Wealthy donors hold DNC hostage -- wouldn't be published.

It was a revealing article http://thehill.com/homenews/campaign...dentity-crisis

What I don't get is... neither NJ or Virginia were in play. Nothing happened in those governortials that wasn't expected. But there are sure a lot of mainstream media articles about the outcomes. Slow news cycle? Or optimism on the rarely optimistic left?

It depends on state but in the end after all the paperwork to be a legal importer or buyer youre going to be out a up to around 8k even in the deep red states.

And yea the guns themselves are very expensive, the cheepest you can really get is an AK or M16 and those are 4-5k each, no paperwork included.

Also its going to take months to get it all through the hoops.

And to be fair, the point I am making is, unless you do (at least) this with semi auto weapons (not gonna happen nor should it) you wont have a single effect mass shootings.

the media is in fact in cahoots with the democratic party, either because the cucks that like to work in that industry, or because the are owned by party leaders. So of course they are going to spam propaganda that this is a big deal.

http://thehill.com/homenews/house/35...ax-reform-done

Rep. Chris Collins (R-N.Y.) had been describing the flurry of lobbying from special interests seeking to protect favored tax provisions when a reporter asked if donors are happy with the tax-reform proposal.

“My donors are basically saying, ‘Get it done or don’t ever call me again,’ ” Collins replied.

Is it only an identity crisis for Democrats because Americans have accepted that Republicans are bought and paid for by lobbyists?

it's an identity crisis because several berniecrats(DSA) were elected. this is new and unexpected considering federal is all red controlled.

spin better idiot.

to draw a glaring contrast - the tg bathroom bill boy was unseated by a translady. that's a big shift.

Both parties are bought and paid for by lobbyists and have been for a long, long time. Everyone knows this.

One of the most difficult things on a county and state level is sending someone to Washington and keeping the claws from sinking too deep. The lure of big money is very strong.

And then you get to the situation we are in locally. A middle-class guy wins on a tiny budget. Is coming up for re-election and who appears? A rich Dem carpet-bagger former lobbyist with lots of connections. If you were the first guy... would you reconsider taking lobbyist money now?
