But yeah technically it's a first just like the Dark Cloak of the Sky is a first even though it doesn't drop. It's the first on the server.

it's the server first. you (and I as well) can have your (our) opinion about how it was attained, but the fact is that it is the server first.

If the gms handed out a fiery avenger as a gm event award before sky was released, and after I sacrificed months of my social life staying home every weekend to be there for sky's opening... yeah, I'd be fucking pissed. I would probably have rage quit after a spectacular display of hatred to the gm staff. However, the point being that the recipient of that FA would be regarded as server first FA; I would have just been the first guy to do the quest.

GM events are legitimate occurrences in our dimension of norrath. While we may disagree with the item given out, it is the server's first; there's nothing illegitimate about it.

Not a single dev have said it drops,just that it should. Just like live, take anything with a grain of salt that is posted by anyone.

From upcoming patch notes:

Siblisian Berserker Cloak should be more likely to be seen in game. The rarity of the drop was not affected, but the chance to see one instead of a Stormwood Battle Staff was updated by taking the ratio of recorded staff drops to cloaks (very slight), and kor shamans were underrepresented in the spawn table due to a smaller level range

This means it can drop before the next patch, it's just very unlikely.

It always had a chance to drop it's just been very very very very minimal. The Dark Cloak of the Sky, however, is not attainable, but is still a server first.

The problem with these threads are they are a pissing match, but you can't bend the rules regardless of reason, else it's no longer a pissing match.

Dunno if your counting firsts classes to complete all sky quests but I have completed all SK sky quests- it may be a server first /shrug
