Its the same argument assholes would make when gay marriage was an issue 20 years ago. Just admit you're an asshole, because someone being trans doesn't affect you or your life at all. Comparing trans to being gay is apples and oranges. Gay men aren't erasing women's athletic achievement or invading their right to privacy in locker rooms and bathrooms. Or giving their children radical, life altering medical therapies before they're old enough to consent to such drastic procedures.

There are legitimate concerns about the trans movement that are totally independent of and unrelated to simple same-sex relationships. It's not about "being an asshole".

Other than those issues, it's a free country and I think you should be able to do whatever you want with your own body as an adult. And I don't think it's right to bully or shame somebody if they choose to be trans. You can hold both positions.

I dunno, if my daughter got fucked in the ass in the school bathroom I would probably go to the police and then the ER to do a rape kit whether it was a trans person or not.
