It's lost now but I did look up US rape numbers 2019 and number of abortions.

It was something like 5k vs 600k.
Possible new GOP slogan: Fuck those five thousand rape victims.

What do you think about some of the buffer laws pertaining to protesting abortion clinics around the country?
I think antifa and BLM should post armed militias around the clinics, since no buffer law is going to protect against a molotov cocktail being hurled from a truck. I trust no laws

Yes I volunteer for this duty here in my state, I need to get back in touch with the SRA but I bet they're cagey as shit these days

“They're all in favor of the unborn. They will do anything for the unborn. But once you're born, you're on your own. Pro-life conservatives are obsessed with the fetus from conception to nine months. After that, they don't want to know about you. They don't want to hear from you. No nothing. No neonatal care, no day care, no head start, no school lunch, no food stamps, no welfare, no nothing. If you're preborn, you're fine; if you're preschool, you're fucked.”

I like the Pastor David Barnhart one, too:

“The unborn” are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn. It’s almost as if, by being born, they have died to you. You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus but actually dislike people who breathe.

Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.

Abortions are murder and feeding poor and underprivileged children is socialism, so obviously things are really going to start improving now in the shithole red states that already have third world infant mortality rates.

These things are true, abortions are murder, and feeding children is socialism.

Both are not non negotiable in a goverment though.

I live in a shithole red state. I would like to get out, especially before the armed conflict starts.

Let’s see how many biased assumptions can be inferred in a single paragraph

- being against illegal immigration or exploits of our asylum system for economic purposes is being anti-immigration

- being a Republican means you are wealthy and privileged despite more and more republicans being blue collar working class and more and more democrats being wealthy ivory tower dwelling elites

- questioning how to fairly and ethically fund healthcare for all, free unicorns for everyone, free daycare for all parents, free printed money for all citizens means you want people to suffer and die from their illnesses and their children to be neglected

It’s biased as fuck man, I could keep going but lost interest at this point in challenging each one
