my car is getting fucked up pretty bad every year by poorly done road work and half ass projects that aren't repaired correctly or other non road related work.

so roads are definitely an election issue. its really bad in every state pretty much. no tax money spent the last several years on any roads, state or fed.

texas has a lot of private highways i heard so its a little different?

Private roads are usually drive ways for the rural homes. Lots of county roads are neglected because there is no money from the tax base due to low population. Cagle takes care of the basics which is all a government really should do.

The highways in Texas, even public ones, are fairly well maintained. However, roads in Houston are garbage. Total trash
