been thinking of getting a new car, having trouble deciding what to get tho, every new car out there is just a flashy computer with 4 wheels its annoying as fuck

wondering about getting a stripped-down mercedes G-class not bc I'm into luxury cars but because they are built soooo damn well

but id have to get work done on it, replace systems with aftermarket stuff so it's less computerized and that makes an already expensive car cost alot more

or an old rebuilt cherokee, but that won't have features that I actually DO want...

just sucks that every late model car out there is polished shit

no lane assist, no heads up display, no cameras, no sensors, no remote access whatsoever, keyed start only, no rfid fobs.

All of these things are gonna make drivers suck at driving to the point where self-driving vehicles are mandated

I'm an excellent driver and enjoy the activity, absolutely no interest in computers taking over for me.
