It's interesting how hard the EpicEmu staff will try to deny how shitty that server is. They can only be going for new blood since the people who have already experienced it know what bullshit it is.

Despite access to this classic EQ "Holy Grail," EpicEmu was 100% a PEQ clone. PEQ is an open database for EQEmu servers, and since they're trying to get through all expansions it's a rushed piece of shit. I don't mean to disparage the work that goes into PEQ, but compared to P99 the database is garbage.

So EpicEmu was essentially a classic server with broken mechanics and missing content. I probably made at least 50 posts to their bug forum in an attempt to get maybe 1% of the game correct. I was met with Kegz bitching at me in tells for posting too many bug reports and making the server look bad. So I deleted them all and never looked back.

Yeah its doing pretty good. About 200-400 toons logged in during prime time. Genocidal Tendencies is the large guild there, and regularly farm everything but NToV currently.
