Lets hope with Daybreak's involvement we can get back to how solid the game was back in 2009-2010 when Rogean frequented the game and forums, and we had active staff members. P.S. I understand Daybreak might be looking over our shoulders, but really... at what point did moving the gif thread and some others out ever concern keeping Daybreak happy?

I'm doing my best to be consistent man, I'm not perfect but what can ya do. I've received numerous PMs from different people about, about various threads not belonging in the various forums. I don't read every thread / post, so I welcome the PMs. This is their community to, so I will consider the suggestion if someone brings a thread / post to my attention.

If I move one thread from RnF to off-topic because its not at all related to P99, but the gif thread (that literally has nothing to do with P99 gameplay, regardless of its age) is allowed to stay indefinitely - I'll get people complaining to me that I'm being unfair and not being consistent in moderating, and I can see their point, can you blame them for being upset if I single their thread out for being off topic, yet let the gif thread remain?

It has nothing to do with that one thread (I love that thread btw). But I really dont see the difference if its in off topic vs RnF, other than its now in the correct forum as they are labeled.

Who's brown nosing? Its their site, they have every right to moderate it as they see fit. If you don't like it, well, you don't have to like it.

I guess the difference as I see it is profanity. When I've used naughty words outside RnF I've received warnings and stuff. Sometimes, I want to use foul language in threads that have nothing to do with EQ.

Is there simply a rule against non-EQ threads in RnF any more? Personally, nothing in this game is ever really gone inspire a rant or a flame from me, but this forum has often contained charged debates about various real world topics, too. Are those threads all supposed to go in Off Topic now? And if so, can I say bad words there or do I need to apply a filter to myself?

Frankly, if I'm forced to rant and flame about only EQ, I don't think I'll be able to get it up.
