Something you don't understand or choose not to accept is the fact that the griefers and twinks your so worried about don't relevel. So with the xp bonus if your in range more than a day or 2 then your doing it wrong. They also don't travel normally unless you piss them off so if they are in Unrest you go elsewhere. It is the same with MM or SolB or whatever.

You have to deal with them each time you level a new toon but you level so much faster than you do on blue fighting for mobs.

Pretty much this. MM/unrest have been the gank hotspots in my short experience on red so far. Stay away if it really scares you that much, but a good group in MM can crush 20-30 in a few hours, so even if you were hit a few times you're in the clear soon.

if someone's really worried about twinks killing them, roll an iksar. their starting zones are great 1-25+ and i promise you will never see a pvp twink the entire time! by the time you're level 30, you're pretty much safe until you're in range of level 60 if you don't hang out in planes/sebilis.

2 of my good buddies on red were from PvP. Talked after we killed each other. Weren't butt hurt. Good things happen when you have a decent attitude.

I tried red a while back it was ok... I met a rogue who was cool and rolled with him , I guess nihilium really liked him and hooked him up. Despite being hooked up a monk destroyed our whole group in unrest. He was cool about it tho. I remember the dude Imawizard was the biggest d-bag ever. Dude made a point to hunt my ass lol... Very interesting time for sure.. I had a Druid I think lvl 20 or 21 I'd consider trying again but maybe making new guys with people I know if I can get them to try...
