Red99 is still in beta considering how many times wild swings of ideas have been implemented, failed, and ignored. I'd rather play the live version.

-Reset the sleeper on red and not blue.
-Allow character xfers from blue to red only.

I don't get it no one wants to transfer over just to awaken sleeper one more time before the wipe?

I thought we were offering red to blue transfers before the wipe so people can preserver their riches and keep pharming like mad dogs.

Gm events are a great way to entice players to come take a look at r99. The thing we need to work on is retention. Sanctuary is drawing in new players which is great, pras avomon, just need to clean up forums and the terrible ooc and we'd see progression. Baby steps first though. Need to get pop above 150 again consistently and maybe after a few months cylock could coax my old pal sirken into looking at ways to help red.

Since it's a classic server no ooc is a given.

Add an eq chat as part of the launcher just like classic so people can fight out of character in a classic way.

bet people would be in Ntov in 2-3 weeks

I think they had the idea, one of my best memory s on p99 was the Halloween event Bosses. even though they failed promise of legendary items for killing the bosses they spawned. Regardless of the fact they didn't give rewards like they said they would. it was my most fond memory in the two years i have played on p99....they used to do shit like that on my classic server, bristlebane. it was a GM heavy server, lots of GM's giving quests to players. years 2000-2001. Honestly gms bringing events into the game is the greatest, its not the reward that counts its the experience! that said i would be fine with a 1 dose turn me into a frog. don't need insane rewards. if that was the issue.
