What is your point? Even if only 1% of adults used twitter, for some reason MSM outlets, which my boomer parents watch (msnbc 247 baby) obsessively cover what takes place on twitter. It's influence is therefor massively amplified to the large audience that doesn't directly use it.

My 68 year old dad has never used twitter, but he thinks the hunter laptop story is fake news because he heard on morning joe or some shit that "even TWITTER banned it for hacked materials!", for example.
