The only thing your USB version will affect is your loading speed, should have no difference to your actual gameplay.

You should be able to remove zone files for any zones you aren't going to as far as I know. Having the old nek doesn't affect you until you attempt to zone into nek.. so not having any Kunark/Velious + zones should be just fine in all old world.

yeah i was planning on copying your version hehe, did it kill off much zoning time or not enough to be noticeable?

Seems pretty quick. Not really sure WHY to be honest, since the same files would be loaded either way.

The reason though is really to have a small client that is easy to move around with. Having EQ on my keychain is very comforting [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. It is not installed on any of my machines anymore.
