Kunark isn't even out yet. Most people are coming back because nildog turned on the exp bonus + that number would be much smaller if we had zone OOC (lol nobody) and root landing 50% of the time while mage earth pets solo melees.

I'm probably rolling a lizard on Friday and I can tell you for sure that I would not do it if that exp boost wasn't on.

XP bonus happened a month or so ago too, pop did not change.

This pop explosion is due to ONE thing and ONE thing only:

Being in VV, the guild with the largest amount of the new players, and having spent a great deal of time with them helping them with items, coin, levels, I can tell you confidently they are here not because of Kunark but because of 1) exp bonus, 2) boredom with blue, 3) a guild that's goal is to help newcomers to the server

In an ideal world, location wouldn't be needed. On a box with 100 people average prime time, it is needed. Think how much worse it'll get for Kubark.

Yeah I forgot about the massive influx of players when Plane of Sky was released. Clearly PvE raid content is the primary driving force behind pvp servers.
