by next week we'll be talking about whatever the next released one is, this is a viral marketing/branding problem now, whoever captures more users gains more data, while the rest of the internet becomes more and more dogshit of a dataset due to AI slop everywhere and chat bots

and a ton of people who used DeepSeek got whatever they typed into it leaked on the internet yesterday due to Deepseek having shit security
I've wondered about how AI developers intend to prevent the feedback loop of AI creating the data that AI is trained on

in The Matrix films, the year is always 1999 because that's the last year the machines had real-world data on

So is our future perpetually the year ~2020?

it sure feels that way

not so much the whisper game but like, if alot of online posters are actually bots, then the LLMs that come later on are gonna be trained on alot of bot posts, reinforcing whatever style or ideology is present in those bot posts for the next posts that the bots make with the new LLMs and so on and so on

suddenly the last 5 years make sense, people were trying to conduct themselves and run campaigns based on data that was built from their own biases

like polling data that fails to understand the type of person who would answer a stranger's phone call, let alone honestly respond to a poll

pissing in the pool that you drink from, so to speak

if your intent is to create a machine that can seamlessly blend into the real world this seems self defeating

i also just realized that sooner or later the data brokers will be selling the most valuable commodity that humans can generate, actual live data from real people, not machines

this forum has been scrapped already, i'm 100% sure of that. as most of the internet has

the problem is converting that into usable data apparently, that professor dude i watch and linked his recent vid pages back was trying to explain the process and what DeepSeek did differently, but whenever to white board comes out i tune the fuck out

The concept of putting a bell on a cat to curtail it's hunting prowess actually made it a better more silent hunter.

Limiting access of the latest graphics chips to China actually made their efforts at making A.I more strealined.

Consider they needed to write very memory efficient algorithms to process the data given that limitation.

Therefore US and A actually helped China win.

Discuss.

Also china has limitless access to users data and a billion people from which to scrape from.

US and A will soon be the same, albiet with a third of the user data. The way that the new gov is ripping away protections of various departments you lot will just get told what you can and cant do, so in the end the residents of the US and A may win again, at the cost of their digital freedums.

Why not several bells? Rig that kitty for war.

Then it can go like the clappers.
