What do you mean construing it? If this bill passes today the rich are getting an $80,000 Federal tax break because the salt tax largely fucks said rich people in democratic states (high state income taxes) that fund the democratic political campaigns that say the rich need to pay more taxes. Meanwhile they are strengthening the IRS to check your $600 transactions.

Here is another fun fact:

The median middle-class household owned $15,000 worth of stock.

The Federal Government has had zero issue spending 2.5 trillion dollars to keep the stock market at all times highs which adds to the ever increasing inflation the general public is seeing which is a huge tax on the middle and lower class. Those dumbasses in Congress now are floating a wealth tax (which will never happen) so they can put the blame on rich people and pretend like they aren't the reason we have such a large wealth gap in this country so they can get re-elected and continue fucking mid and low income earners because they are gullible.
