Wrong, that's what the story is now.

The story was they were pro-Trump right-wring militia... until the truth came at least one of them is an anti-Trump anarchist, more ideologically aligned with ANTIFA.

The story changed to continue to fit the left narrative once the facts came out. Typical.

I'm no Trump sycophant. Never liked him as a person - still don't like him as a person, and I didn't vote for him in 2016. Nice faceplant.

Can winning get old? I don't know, but it looks like I'm going to find out.

You saying so, doesn't make it so. Facts don't care about your feelings *points to chart* Believe science. Trust the experts.

Walter Mondale was a terrible candidate and was VP to one of the worst Presidents in American history.
Carter was an interesting one because he was undoubtedly both honest and intelligent. He probably had the highest personal integrity of any POTUS during my lifetime. He was also totally, woefully ineffective as chief executive. Smart and honest he was, but he lacked the necessary strength of spirit to stand up to difficult problems--a highly effective follower or adviser, but not a leader, and unsuited to the job.

That being said I rate Carter higher than "corrupt bargain" Ford. Ford deserved to be hanged.

I don't feel we've had a truly good POTUS since Eisenhower, and that was before I was born. Looking at history it's tempting to draw a parallel to the long string of mediocre-to-bad presidents the U.S. suffered through during the lead up to the civil war.

I don't see how anyone could go from supporting Bernie to supporting Trump based on their politics. If I had to guess, Castle has had a rough time socially and needs someone to lash out at and Trump helps him focus his rage toward democrats, minorities, and people socioeconomically worse off than he is.

Not based strictly on politics to be sure, but that jump is as simple as despising the Clintons. Granted such a jump is unlikely to convert someone to anything beyond a reluctant Trump voter.

No, I wanted Rand Paul to win the primary. I lean more Libertarian. Socialism is a disease.

Anyone who doesn't have a coherent worldview but is sick of "career politicians", "the establishment", yada yada.

Nice projection. I'd tell you my social accolades from high school and beyond, but that might push the envelope too much on my Gaston forum roleplay. I prefer to banter about more important and more serious elf accolades any way.

I just don't put up with hypocrites and cowards well. If you're inconsistent and run from questions in a debate - you're not high up on my friend list, ya know?

I seem to get along really well with well-intentioned, sensible people.
