You know Iran almost has a democracy -- all that needs replaced is the military. Remove the supreme leader and his security apparatus and the country could just go from there.

I'm actually ok with this kind of thinking -- and I bet Trump is too. But for some reason most elites seem to think its a horrible idea to let smaller regional powers take some influence for themselves.

Same with Russia...just let them have some satellite states.

I don't believe that the USA needs to have a totalitarian grip on the world. I think just being the most powerful country is good enough.

Edit: Iraq is off the table though -- can't trust Persians to run an Arab country fairly.
