I am not in touch with the current status of bannings so not sure how this turned into another Nihilum vs Rest thread, but I'm sure there are people on all sides with banned accounts.
Given the history of peoples actions on this server it's reasonable to assume they knowingly exploited this bug, probably with the assumption of the worst repercussion being that the items get removed.
It's time to start laying down the hammer so people stop exploiting everything they can.
