yeah chances are names wont be changed unless someone petitions it, even then it has to be pretty bad. Most people laugh and move on, item links ruin my immersion far more than silly names

Anyone who gets offended by a name in Everquest simply /ignore that person and move on if its that big of a deal. If it offends you im going to assume you started playing EQ in 99 when you were in your early 50's now in mid 60's.

With todays technology and how its everywhere and easily accessed, along with how TV shows and news stations have progressed to elaborate on subject matters that would otherwise be considered R/PG-13 back in the day, a basic first name or first/last name combo shouldn't be offending you. If you bother posting here or /petitioning in EQ you literally have no life and don't know what the real life is outside your bedroom walls hovering around your computer playing EQ.

Sac up and grow a thicker skin.
