I guess it's because I grew up in Connecticut but everyone south of the tri state area seems dum as fuck.

I don't know about the old south, maybe dumb as rocks there but Dallas Houston and Austin are about the only cities I could live in the south.

At its core, you're completely right. The urban ghetto is a form of continued slavery perpetrated by whites to segregate African Americans from Caucasians. The thug culture that leads to what I deem ******s (behind the safety of my keyboard) is 100% due to their environment and has nothing to do with their skin color etc. That doesn't make me any more sympathetic however as they break into my car for the fourth time this year (not an exaggeration). Although you'd be happy to know, when the court wanted to know if I would be ok with them dropping charges in exchange for the minor going through some sort of remedial program, I said ok.
