I used to hate instanced raiding. And then I saw the grand joke of p99 endgame.
I've been saying for quite a few years that P99 serves as a case study for why practically all newer online role-playing games make significant use of instancing.

That can't be real, can it? Surely nobody has such a crippling lack of self-esteem that they'd allow the self-anointed leaders of a video game guild to talk down to them in such a condescending manner without telling 'em to get bent. I'm not in a high-end guild on P99, and none of the folks on my friend list who're in 'em report being mistreated in such a manner. Are they failing to mention it because it's made up....or because they're embarrassed?

So we know that tempest turned down the offer of vyemm loot + half of vulak with a roll off for first pick of loot. Was a counter offer from tempest ever made? Just curious what their goal was / is here, and what they think is fair? Or are their leaders just enjoying holding the server hostage at the expense of loot for their own Guildmembers?

This whole situation makes me think that the rules of conceding a mob need to be modified where there is a time limit on the concession. I.e. guild A pulls a dragon to the ent and wipes, causing other guilds at ent to die, so they concede the right to attempt the dragon again for 48 hours (for example) giving the affected guild / guilds plenty of time to have a clean attempt at it.

About 380 DKP on average lately. You can get that in a month of somewhere between casual and hardcore raiding.

Since when? Was there definitive proof during a recent quake of a raid mob that was already alive prior to quake not respawning again after the repop version is slain?

note: The new “old” spawn never would spawn instantly after quake version’s death, it always showed up sometime later.

Rogean very clearly one night stated on a broadcast no mobs would be lost when they did a quake with half of ToV still up (during one of the first A/A suspensions).

Uh I don't get your logic. If Vulak isn't killed before the quake that's one less Vulak killed.

That’s not how earthquakes work or used to rather, that’s what I was asking if someone had recent evidence of them working differently.

In the past, when an earthquake occurs, any raid mobs currently up are replaced with the new spawn however after the new spawn is slain, sometime later (usually around some kind of variance depending how long new spawn sits up) another would spawn so that the earthquakes would not “eat” a spawn because there are random.
