I don't think anyone said, "Why are you forcing me to do this?!". Not one person. We are doing it. We are pointing out how flawed and broken the mechanic is for the manastone. Forcing someone to stay awake and actively at their keyboard for 60+hours is not a good mechanic. In fact I would say it is a dangerous mechanic for a persons health if they choose to use it.

The game isn't forcing you to stay up. You are forcing yourself to stay up. If you are going to do it there is no need to complain.

HOWEVER, I do not have sympathy for people who commit suicide so why should I be concerned about the people who are voluntarily putting themselves through this?

The list is fine, the drop rates are fine.


The list is the BEST they could do while keeping the manastone in the game. We have volunteer guides who do NOT deserve to deal with the bullshit that would have risen from the camp without a list in place.

You do at least agree that waiting in line for the camp is the right thing I would imagine? The list is there to ensure that people adhere to this and that there is no passing-of-the camp to the next guildie BS going on.

The AFK checks? I think that is a great solution to stop people from AFKing for long periods of time while other people do the work. What else can they do to avoid people from abusing the system they have put in place?

There is NO solution that they could have come up with that would make everyone happy, but apparently the one solution that would save you neckbeards from yourselves would have been to leave manastone and other legacy items out of the game, period, and that goes against the whole purpose of this project made possible by the glorious Nilbog.

Bottom line: their server, their rules.

What do you think should be changed? No list? Manastones dropping like candy? Remove them? What exactly do you propose?

I didn't mean literally. I don't think they are pointing a gun to our head. But if we choose to get it. That is the mechanic we have to follow and the consequences of it.

This part is incorrect. Feedback is always important. Especially when the devs themselves have stated things may change in the future based on how it turns out. Maybe they expected 60 hours non-stop playing with no rest to be the way it is meant to be. In which case I imagine we will see them respond eventually to it.

Or maybe they are listening and the feedback from the people actually doing it would be the people to listen to for feedback (That is kind of the way feedback works lol). Wouldn't make sense to think, "There is people who aren't using the list and think it is pathetic to use it and they don't care. Should we listen to their opinion on the list? Or should we listen to the people who actually used the /list to find out if /list is working as intended for that location"
