Thankfully the legal system doesn't consider criminal history as a type of evidence.

People are not bringing up their criminal histories to suggest they deserved to be killed, it is to highlight the absurd crocodile tears being shed for these "victims", in a transparent, politically-motivated way. Past behavior also informs how present information is interpreted, especially in a jury trial. It's perfectly relevant.

If only Rosenbaum hadn't attacked and threatened to murder Kyle, he might have lived to go on and rape five more kids. Like, seriously how is ANYONE on the wrong side of this still??

If anything though them all being felons with criminal histories, including jump kick man, should reinforce how “protests” look when it gets late at night and only the disreputables remain. It should also indicate what to expect to be doing when you go out yourself as a conservative or someone doing something contrary to what those people want and you have a gun. Meaning you should understand there is a very good chance you are going to be killing people, even if it’s legally

Yes they were, because Kyle's past behavior was not pertinent given the facts of the case. His assailants' was.

I honestly think people rooting against kyle in this just fundamentally don't believe in self defense, because this is a textbook example of it by every conceivable metric. If this wasn't self defense, what IS? It always seems to be people who know nothing about gun laws who think you aren't allowed to shoot somebody, ever, unless they also have a gun.
