I was extremely fortunate growing up. Had a very stable economic situation and two very loving and dedicated parents. Admittedly, I don't think I fully appreciated truly how lucky I was growing up until I went to college and met a lot more people who had the exact opposite situations.

These people want to silence anyone who disagrees with them and are also totally fine with doing things like rigging the election system, intimidating voters, etc. as long as it benefits their party. They are the antithesis of American democracy. However, the fortunate thing is that while they are very loud and whiney, they are still a small percentage of the people in our country (part of why they're so angsty is because they know that and are angry about it) and you saw that with the 2020 election...us folks on the center right are sane and don't have time for these people/Trump.

I had an amazing upbringing, and despite this, which obviously offered no benefit, I am in a secure financial position in my life. I think the best thing to insult people would be lording what gave me success over them. You seem to wear that as a proud badge on your chest when coming into conflicts. Admitting you did have an unfair advantage in life could help you a lot. Maybe ship rugby and go to the food pantry? Help me fill my bags? A little haughty? hmm? Ostentatious? hmm? Are your parents still together?

When did I say my upbringing gave me an unfair advantage with respect to the way my life turned out now? I paid for almost all of my own college and graduate school through student loans and had jobs all through high school in order to have spending money. My parents want to ensure that their children had an appreciation for hard work and being self sufficient. I was lucky with my family's financial situation in that I had a good living situation at home, never had to worry about where my next meal was coming from, getting clothes and school supplies, etc. But yeah I make fun of you because you act like you're some super intelligent big shot when really you live in some small no name town and get your boss's coffee at your dead end job. Keep ranting about vaccines and how you "open carry" and fight authority to make yourself feel good about your dead end life though [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

You always had your " Safety net " you got to pretend to be a big boy and make your own way through the world, but in reality you are still wearing the backpack with the little leash leading to the protective hands of your parents. You tried to make an appeal that you understood this situation in your college years, yet, you've never been with them. You have probably never been homeless, worried, scared for your next meal, the feigned empathy is what disgusts people the most. Unfortunate! Thankfully, I am doubtful you will produce any viable children, as I assume you and your "GF" are vaccinated. Utterly disgusting to pretend you are anything but entitled. " By my own hard work! " Indeed. Try spitting out that silver spoon and biting down on reality for a while, though, as you said, the ethic, the virus, is deep inside your mind. You would NEVER quit your job, you would NEVER walk away. You are in too deep. The autonomic nature of your existence is truly frightening!

Your last comment is just odd. Why would I want to quit my job? I really enjoy what I do. And I also very, very much enjoy the extra zeros it puts in my bank account and the lifestyle that provides for me. For example, if a snowstorm hits Colorado on like a Friday, I like being able to charter a plane at the drop of a hat and fly to my condo at Vail and get some awesome runs in that weekend. Or if I'm sick of the cold in New York during the winter, I like being able to take a jaunt down to my house in Florida for the weekend and catch some sun by the pool. Or if I feel like spending some time in Europe for a little bit, heading over to my apartment in London for a few days. Why would I want to give all that up? Lol
