Yeah you talking about bard dispel? It never worked, we didnt use it. Try again.
whether bard dispel was used or not is totally irrelevant to the post I linked. However, shiftin has informed me in game that you couldn't have used this exploit on the 28 person gore kill, so I stand corrected.

actually i was talking about killing gore yesterday with 28 "not still bragging about that other one." where we had karsten play a bard. so that was fun.

thanks for not petitioning me i appreciate, cause clearly FGs were serious business back then. and duoing them was soo tough. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

nah, it wasn't tough with that approach. it was the only way to duo kill tranix anyway, my point was not to brag about it when you were exploiting something that was very clearly a bannable offense and sort of goes to prove my point. also that efreeti enchanter solo originated from a divinity enchanter -- the post wand nerf one. the pre-wand nerf solo was a joke, and hardest part was getting the camp.

How has nobody pointed out that the "bugged spiroc lord" skope was referring to was actually bugged *harder* than he was later changed to be. TR was the only one to manage to take down the pre-nerfed spiroc lord. Full rounds of 493 with procs is no joke. He was literally like a classic version of the AoW.

his damage per round was decreased but his haste was increased as well, and according to logs we both kept the DPS was roughly the same pre and post. i compared the logs we kept from logs you kept and were provided by one of your former members who was one of the few that was still guilded IB and survived that split. we also never used DA idols or stacked mage/necro pets and dropped him with 37 (think hogwash was afk).

The island repops were broken, though, and we were the first guild to actually submit that they were broken (2months into posky).

Same dps but less bursty. Before the nerf he could and would frequently one round a fully raid-buffed tank from 100% instantly. Lower damage rounds at least gave you more of a chance to hit spot heals and CHs in between the hits and made rounds with procs not quite as painful.

that was the trick used to take down some mobs. we actually started stacking up on idols as well but found a better way to drop him that didn't require bringing a bagillion necros/mages.

I also like how you seem to infer that we never killed him without da idols or mage pets. We had plenty of kills after the changes with tanks up.
