365 accounts are being suspended... that's only over the course of two weeks.

Typically this type of violation results in a permanent ban. While we are furious that this many people chose to think we aren't serious about our rules, we also aren't willing to simply throw away that many accounts. This is a one time leniency to the punishment of this offense. In addition to being suspended, however, the following will also be imposed on every character on those accounts:

• The character's total experience will be reduced by a percentage equal to their level. Meaning a level 60 will lose 60% of their total experience worth. (This would result in a de-level to level 54 and 1/4.)
• The character will be stripped of all coin.

As much excitement i have about this announcement i am terrified to see that the cheaters remain intact (well almost).

I just want to remind you (staff of p99) these people need to be treated with the iron fist. One of the big reasons VZTZ fell was the lack of punishment.

I'm really hoping this is a one time occurrence, and if you ever catch anyone on the red server, you ban them for life.

Deleveling to 54 and removing coin is decently harsh. I think it is a good warning. I agree that all future incidents should come with full character wipes/account banning.
