I don't understand the raid rules, mechanics, or metagame: Even my raiding adversaries would disagree with you here.
I deserve top-end loot: I have a goal to achieve my epic and a primal spear (or rather, any spear with the Velious 1-H spear graphic would do). I do not have any other gear aspirations, neither do I feel I "deserve" any gear. I have been passed over multiple times for Trak guts for bards that have since quit and yet I am not upset. I figure I'll have to wait until Undead Bard for my guts, I have time. I have actually donated my scales to others that could make use of them for their epics now. I also dinged 47 in banded with a vendor horn and drum. When I won an RBG and Cloak of Piety in the same day, I returned the RBG to the guild.
I'm spouting off about all of it: Besides the TMO bards, I'm the oldest bard in the raid scene still played by the original owner. I know what I'm talking about.

Bard epics are uncommon. Who would award it to a sub-60? Congrats on giving away the pieces; that'll help you achieve your goals. Do you think trying to snipe FTE will get you a primal or even inside ST? Congrats on giving away your RBG. I have no idea what that has to do with anything.

Wiping in Hate and Sky is not being "in the raid scene."

Please explain where FTE matters less than getting the kill? FTE is all that matters for the way this server is run. You don't want them getting raid mobs, stop killing their targets for them. If you are dumb enough to kill a mob you don't have FTE on, you deserve to lose that mob.

This reminds me of a certain TMO Trak where they had 19 in Sebilis, 5 able to engage Trak, and were still awarded loot for FTEing a VD engage. VD was told "get better at FTE LOL" by TMO. This is just me telling TMO to "get better at FTE LOL", which I'd hope you guys already know. Jokes lose all their fun when you have to explain them.

You are arguing a concept that wasn't in contention in your post. Your post said any guild who who dps'd someone elses FTE is stupid. When in a majority of the case the only reason to know who got FTE is with a GM. Your post lacked insight into actual raid dynamics. If you wish to demonstate knowledge and understanding of those dynamics maybe you should refrain from making posts like that in the future.

Yours is the informal fallacy of hasty generalization. In some cases, FTE is a deciding factor. However, showing up with an inadequate raid force and having your bluff called makes FTE irrelevant, as demonstrated at Noble Dojorn. Lacking a competent pull team on an outdoor dragon will prevent an opportunity to compete for FTE at all, as demonstrated at Talendor. Being unable to find your way to the raid spot without dying will also preclude a chance for FTE, as demonstrated at Nagafen.

FTE matters. FTE is not the only thing that matters. Stating a claim that only FTE matters compromises your credibility. From my perspective, it looks like you've been drinking BDA Kool-Aid a little too long. The raid rhetoric in that guild is utter nonsense. Tracking the TMO tracker? Really? You honestly believe that's a route to victory?
