no mass shooter to this date would be hindered by that law. It would have not changed or hindered their ability in anyway to perform the mass shootings.

in fact there has never been a mass shooting in this country that the person who obtained their gun, would have been precluded from obtaining those guns in the exact same way if that was a law.

So yes, you are a retard if you think that is a good new law to add to the books because you think it will help reduce mass shootings.

* Going head to head against the military is absurd because the disparity in force is so large. Their families, however, are more vulnerable and killing them would be just as effective. No one is going to want to fight for and support a tyrant if it means their parents, kids, and wife will die a violent death at the hands of an overweight man with an AR-15.

2nd amendment means guns aren't getting an outright ban, so drop the speculation of a ban unless an amendment is proposed to be added to the constitution that would ban guns (good luck). Sensical compromise like an increase in age requirement based on mental development (drinking age law is a model) isn't a bad idea to try. You could also argue for a restriction on the types of guns available to the public. If something happens, it will have loop holes in the lanuage. So much slippery slope going on at the moment.
