Anyone who goes to a protest with the intent to fight, hit with sticks, and bear mace other people will never have my respect. This includes Antifa and Proud Boys. It seems both are like children pointing at each other saying “b-b-but he started it!”. Who cares? It still doesn’t mean violence and intimidation is the right thing to do

I understand the desire to generally be a pacifist, I often struggle with this myself

But if this didn't happen historically we'd never have a lot of the things we do, like America, or better labor laws than the countries we exploit now, etc

There is a way to stop these boring conservatives from turning into Nazis with words but look in this thread or many others for ways they shield themselves from change, or refute anything that challenges the world view they have been spoon fed by the wealthy people who exploit them
