I was gonna TLDR this thread but I can sum it up instead.

Lots of throwing rocks in glass houses here. Many years of peoples lives wasted on EverQuest. Mine included.

I always assumed that people didn't really take things personally in this game and shrugged them off like I did. This thread has obviously convinced me otherwise. Feel bad for people on all sides who invest any emotional connection to this game outside of the enjoyment of killing dragons and other players.
