Transfer files/folder to new computer?
Hey guys!
So I upgraded to a better newer game computer and was wondering what the best way is to transfer the game to that machine would be? Could I just send the game folder to a thumb drive and then put that folder on the new computer? Do I need to extract the files or what is the best way to do this? Any easy advice would be apriciated greatly. Thank you! Ron | ||

Ok thank you. Copy it onto the thumb drive then extract it on the new computer? I’ll give that a try tonight.

I've even ran the game off a thumb drive before. I just plug it into the laptop and point the shortcut to the eq executable.

I copied the game over and am now getting an “Error in your GUI XML files. Check UIErrors txt’ message. Any idea what that’s about?

I dragged the whole folder to the thumb drive then put it into the new computer and drug it to the desktop. I am still getting the same error.

Try taking permissions on the new pc when its moved. maybe its a permissions issue. Otherwise reinstall titanium.

I got titanium from another user like 4 years ago over Facebook. He was awesome in helping me get the game set up and running so if it’s not in that folder that I brought over then I’m kinda screwed. What are the permissions? I don’t recall seeing anything like that.
