Movie Thread - Movies that make an impression

If I were to pick a movie that scared the crap of me as a kid it would the original Invasion of the Body Snatchers. Gave me terrible dreams but let me learn how to control my dreams so that's good.

Most influential movies have to be Alien, Blade Runner, and Less Than Zero.

The movies that actually scared me as a kid were Child's Play and Candyman. The originals.

Hardly any sequel movies were good in the entire history of film-making IMO.

I simply don't watch sequels. And neither should you. Then they will finally stop making them.

Best modern horror: Sinister, Oculus, and The Babadook. Those are the relatively recent ones I liked.

Older movies: The Thing I have to agree is amazing:

Ok ill watch John Wick 2...but I should add that maybe action movies are different when it comes to sequels. You watch action movies for action scenes mostly. The plots might be ok -- but not that complicated.

Ya. I don't want to spoil your watch. As you know it's not about the plot. However, the art is better, the budget is bigger and used well, and they expand the world without really giving a shit about the plot. Enjoy dude!
