Character syncing

Odd issue here:

I logged in at work today and camped but must have crashed when camping and never checked on work comp again before leaving.

Now, I am trying to log in on my home comp but it is saying I have an active character, please allow a minute for synchronization... it’s been almost 4 hours since I was on at work.

Any ideas? Or am I stuck driving back to work ?

I have had that happen to me a few times and have had to go back to work to log out completely or ctrl-alt-delete and close the program.

Post in the petition forum and request for your character to be kicked out of the world. Or log in to another game account and do the same.
