Default Crash on zoning

50% crapshoot every time I zone that I'll crash, then it will fail to connect to the server select, then it might crash back to login when loading to character select, then I'll finally get back in, zone, and repeat the process. some times as many as 5-6 crashes before I'm able to log back in.

This works for some. Might help you. Give it a shot.

"Right-click eqgame.exe and go to Properties. Go to compatibility tab, tick the box 'Run this program in compatiblity mode for:' and then select 'Windows XP service pack 2' from the drop down menu.

Further down the compatibility tab under 'Privilage Level' tick the box to 'Run this program as Administrator'

Click Apply at the bottom."

Some folks have better luck in full screen mode. Others have better luck in windowed. Might be worth trying both modes to see if one crashes less or not at all.
