Default More questions...

I hate to flood the forum, but I'm really clueless here...

Got to login and server select and then got this pop up:

exception processing message 0xc0000139 parameters 0x755991B0 0x755991B0 0x755991B0 0x755991B0

Any thoughts?

on your login screen select options, on the second screen after hitting next you will find the video options, reset it back to default. log into the game, (everything will look distorted and blurry) use the EQ button and reset your resolution to your liking. log out to save your settings and try logging back in. i have to do this every time I plug or unplug my external monitor from my netbook or I get the same error.

hope this helps
cheers

Tried this fix with no luck. I do appreciate the response though.

I've seen a few places surfing google that relate this to a 'no disk' error but the numbers are different and I don't get a 'Windows No Disk' title to my window that pops up.

0xc0000139 as a first chance exception, is DLL not found (or contents of a DLL not lining up with called execution.)

Try running as administrator.

Tried running as admin, no luck.

At this point I have tried renaming drives, running multiple anti virus/walware programs, replacing a dll file... not sure what to try next...

Did a fresh install, this time I select the server and while no error message pops up, the screen just goes black and sits there. Also tried resolution changes to 640x480 and no luck there. Someone mentioned an alt+enter which didn't seem to help.

I'm running it windowed as per changing graphic options to default setting.

Game window gives me the '(Not Responding)' tag

Make sure the video section of your eqclient.ini looks similar to this:

Quote:
[VideoMode]
Width=1920
Height=1080
WidthWindowed=1920
HeightWindowed=1080
WindowedWidth=1920
WindowedHeight=1080
Just make sure that instead of 1920 and 1080 you are entering the height and width you want your client to run at. I would recommend using the same for your client that you do for your desktop to start with to avoid any issues.

You can also try moving eq to a different folder if you are using window 7. Stupid permissions caused it to not work on my 7 box. Move EQ to a root folder, run as admin, and maybe even turn of UAC.
