i am posting from my home my dear upset obese middle aged elven friend
while i haven't had to go into a job on a saturday in decades, if the need arose - i would due to the responsibility of the position i hold

i wasn't aware there was more "jr role" than technical recruiter
if you're making your interns work on the weekend, this is likely coming from above and sounds like your recruiting firm (sounds like a small time shop) is in dire financial straights
i'd advise job seeking if your above claims are true
