Default No light coming from the sun!

Playing on a macbook pro w/ crossover games. (nvidia card)

Everything runs fine, but whenever i'm outside during the day, the sun is a purple circle and it gives out --no-- light. It's darker than night time on my pc.

Anyone have any experience with this?
I've tried turning shaders off and i've tried turning all the video settings down/off in options. It just won't work!

I'm not sure about Crossover, but with wine (the software that Crossover is based upon) the Titanium client has some graphical glitches without modifying the source code and recompiling. If I recall correctly, the change for wine involves MaxVertices, so possibly lowering your graphics vertex settings might help?
