Default Original combat music

Does anyone know of a way to be able to randomly hear the 3 original everquest combat music when turning on autoattack, like it was on the original game, and not the same one (music #1) over and over?

Or even if we can't get these at random (probably client-side), it would be nice to be able to pick which one we get (file replacement/rename I would guess).

Actually Malrubius, doing that is easy, just put any mp3 format song you like in your main Everquest folder and rename it : "combattheme1.mp3" (or just "combattheme1" if your Windows dosent write the file extension)

Cool, thanks. I just wasn't sure what file was being used. Hmm, lots of possibilities now [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

On the same general topic..

The 'quest complete' sound - which one is that? I need to normalize the volume on that! It's WAY too loud.

And.. that sound - was ripped off from an old game of Monopoly, way back before EQ released. It was the 'start' sound for the game, lol. I'm pretty sure of it. I don't think I have that game anymore though - it was like a 'Win95' game just after the DOS daze.

I can't believe it is impossible to make it so we can hear the 3 songs randomly?
