Default General V'Ghera

Tonight my guild rallied the force to do 2 General Kills for my epic and another guildies epic. I spawned General first, a person named "Prophetie" asked to turn in herkanor's head for her mask quest, so i obliged. Upon her turning in Herkanor's head, General rewarded her with her mask, and despawned, eating my turn in. I have read nothing about General despawning, and find it highly unlikely that the high elf mask quest would even trigger a despawn as head is a subquest of the epic. Any help is appreciated.

Turning in the head for the high elf mask despawns the general. Sorry man.

It's not a subquest, but an alternate path. If you kill Stanos and give his head to General V'ghera, there'll be no one to give the general's pouch for your final epic turn in.
