Unhappy A Dread Corpse in Qeynos aqueducts

So I never spent a whole lot of time in the Qeynos aqueducts but I was surprised (and killed) by a dread corpse in there today. Seems a bit rude that there is a 8+ KoS running around in there where everything else I've seen is 2 - 6 and non KoS.

Guess I wasn't prepared. Classic is hard.

I think it's a cringe sig of it. I don't believe he/she/they are singling you out.

There's a placeholder for the dread corpse, or she is the placeholder for something down there. I can't remember. So, the dc is not up all the time. But when she is, she wanders pretty much the whole area that is reached by the north Qeynos entrance. Thank goodness she doesn't swim.

I'm just assuming the dc was a she. Makes better lore.

Thankfully dying at 5 isn't that painful yet, but I'm trying to camp some HP rings and earrings down there. I guess I pay in blood and exp for em.

I think it shares a spawn with level 2 skeleton Ronn Castekin, who may be killed from time to time for a Surefall Glade (?) quest.

And I vividly remember the Dread Corpse from when I played Live during Luclin era. It terrorized my bard who lived down there.

Once you get past the Undead Knight you're pretty safe from it to hunt the rats and spiders and fire beetles, if you're camping for the +HP Rings then watch your back! I spent alot of time in the Aqueducts on Launch Day, it was the best place to get exp rather than sitting around on the grass outside in the dark waiting for a single spawn.
