Spells costing more mana than actually listed?

Never really paid any attention to this before but I noticed that my spells seem to be casting more than is listed under the tooltip.

Example: I was in Oasis casting light heal while nearly oom. I had 50 mana, light healing costs 25 mana. After casting Light Heal I was only left with 17 mana.

Does anyone have a similar problem?

It may be more of a display of your actual mana. If you notice your mana numbers will jump around throughout a tick. Like it makes a meditate check after the default mana tick. If you play a shaman and canni dance you seem to notice the quirks alot.

Yeah. This occurred when I was playing my shaman and med dancing between heals to preserve mana.
