Default no terrain in certain zones

Hi,

when I zone into Nektulos (from ecom or neriak) or port into Lavastorm, there is no terrain displayed. I am unable to move, but I can open spellbook and gate. I can see text, I can see other players who zone in (but they immediately appear to fall into an abyss).

Corrupted s3d files? Reinstall would fix it?

Plox halp.

thank you

In the install guide, it mentions these zones specifically. You need to delete some specific zone files (nek forest, lavastorm, arena) after running the p99 update.

Take a look again at the install guide and you should be able to resolve this pretty quickly. Best of luck!

Edit: The guide is here

And the specific part you want to focus on is this:

Quote:
Once you have completed installation you will need to extract the Project 1999 required game file changes. The current distribution is Project 1999 Files (V47).
These files must overwrite any existing files encountered during extraction into your Titanium directory.

Once that is completed, the following files must be DELETED or MOVED OUT OF the Titanium directory:

arena.eqg
arena_EnvironmentEmitters.txt
lavastorm.eqg
nektulos.eqg
Nektulos_EnvironmentEmitters.txt

Failure to delete these files will result in problems accessing certain zones.
