Oculus Rift integration possible?
Hey,
Anyone have any word on whether or not this might be a thing to expect? It would be amazing if so. 1999: "It feels like I'm in a 3D game!" 2014: "I'm in the 3D game!" I wouldn't say it would detract from it being 'classic' in that it wouldn't affect any of the current rules in place or game mechanics; it's simply a different way to view the environment. It seems it shouldn't be difficult at all, but that's being spoken from an 'ignorance is bliss' standpoint. All I know is that a lot of games that weren't written for the Rift specifically now have drivers in place for passable, maybe kinda clunky integration, such as Minecraft. Those who feel it breaks the classic feel could just as easily not use it that way. Then again those who feel they should still be staring at a spellbook could also just as easily aim their view at their lap and pretend (not quite the same thing though). So I'd love to see the feedback on the idea. The option to view the classic environment in a whole new way if desired would get a big thumbs up from me and others that I've asked. | ||

Nevermind, I see there's already a thread about 'neckbeardism' that covers this topic.
