&th ring quest

Having trouble with the dwarf. Turned in the ring and key and he just poofed and didn't come back till he repopped later in the same spot. Figured I might have messed up the turn in so got another key and handed the ring first then the key and same thing. Any ideas?

Had the shift key held down, the & is supposed to be 7.

How is it vague? There is only one NPC that you turn a key and a ring in to for the 7th ring quest.

Never had that issue with him personally. Might just be a lag-related thing - could try following his escort path (runs roughly SE out of the prison tower) and see if he poofs back into existence farther out.

• Find Corbin Blackwell, Hand him the Shackle Key and your Mithril Coldain Insignia Ring.
• Escort him to safety. Wait for Corbin Blackwell to talk to Dobbin Crossaxe.
• Hand your Mithril Coldain Insignia Ring into Dobbin Crossaxe, receive Note from Corbin.
• Hand Note into Garadain Glacierbane.

Did the first 2 twice and both times he poofed and didn't reappear.
Didn't have a tracker with me so not sure if he glitched and walked away without seeing him. The 3 of us kept constant watch around his building and never saw him leave.

From what I recall from doing that part, you need to clear away the giant that are guarding the dwarf. Once you turn in the items he begins walking towards the NE area on map where the final turn in happens. A set of orcs and giants spawn along the way and you must engage all of them to protect the dwarf you are to follow. The dwarf will stop while you are fighting them and continue to the final turn in after you kill them all. I have been able to complete this with a partner a couple time but in doing so I have figured out how i can manage to kill them all solo.

If i were you, I'd first petition to have the Admins see about returning your items and confirm if the dwarf is working properly as it is a bit of work to redo the quest from the start, but then again I'm not sure if you are getting your ring back and only need to kill the giant (Warder) for the key again.
