Default Dwarf Rogue Starting Points...

I’ve decided on a Dwarf Rogue as I have never played a rogue before and they seem to be the most balanced of the class. My question is, where ought I put those pesky extra 30 starting points?

The typical answer is Stamina.

However, you could split points between STR and STA.

Or all STR.

You're not supposed to take damage, so screw Stamina.

Firstly, for a min/max standpoint you're best off making a Barbarian rogue if you're not picky on race due to their high str/sta.

Regardless, this is one of those topics that's endlessly debated. Some will tell you 25sta/5str to get that extra 80 hp at lvl 60 vs going 25 str/5 sta. Personally I'd still go 25str/5sta with any rogue race because the higher strength will make the leveling process more enjoyable and you will be able to hit max quicker and swap in other items like resist gear while still having tons of str.

strength determines how hard you hit
dex and agility how often you get hit and how often you hit.
stamina for more hp

I thought Dex only affected proc rates and combat skill ups?

Also, isn't Agility broken on the server?

What is the point of putting 5 into sta? If it only means 80hps @ 60 how many less will it be for 5. Why not dex?

Dex does nothing for you. You don't even want procs as a rogue cause itll take aggro.

You try finding out how much a free +80hp item would cost at 60 when fully geared out otherwise would cost >.>
