Lists aint classic! In classic you could actually camp stuff level appropriate....instead of needing to be over-leveled for the content to be able to be on the list.

Nor is knowing an item will be "taken off the spawn tables in 3 months and worth many platinums in years down the line when the server merges with a larger server with inflated economy".

What madness is this? You mean I would be farming it to actually use it and not stand in the tunnel for hours on end years later selling it for silly amounts of plat? What is this ‘play the game’ you speak of? I thought this was an economy simulator.

They've tweaked a few things, haven't they? Necros aren't quite the same as they were in original EQ, for example.

I don't see why they can't change a few things that would improve the game, like group xp bonuses, class xp penalties, and perhaps making some items no drop.

These changes wouldn't even alter the way the game plays. It'd still feel as classic as it ever did.
