So should I go Rogue or Ranger? Want something that will find groups easy
Rogue is probably better for finding groups. Just be warned that they can't solo at all so if you don't find a group, you'll be making your own or sitting there waiting for an invite.

Ranger very underpopulated at the moment. Least populated class. Wizzies and Paladins second least populated. A lot more Monks than the poll indicated.

All the Rangers are /anon.
It's ingrained in them to avoid prejudice and bullying. They pretend they're Warriors.

If people take ranger tanks then there will be no problem.

Except for the groups that get stuck with the ranger "tanks."

Isn't Sol A/B not in the game for several months? Or was it a revamp?
Oh, I hadn't heard that. Could absolutely be the case. But I was just using it as an example, can substitute in any other dungeon/port location.

Default Poll vs. Reality

Hello everyone, here are the actual class percentages in the game on launch day as of 7:00pm EST, as compared to the current poll percentages:
Bard 106 (5.12%; Poll: 7.17%)
Cleric 221 (10.68%; Poll: 9.32%)
Druid 293 (14.16%; Poll: 11.65%)
Enchanter 266 (12.86%; Poll: 11.47%)
Magician 183 (8.84%; Poll: 6.99%)
Monk 106 (5.12%; Poll: 4.66%)
Necromancer 194 (9.38%; Poll: 9.14%)
Paladin 67 (3.24%; Poll: 5.02%)
Ranger 55 (2.66%; Poll: 6.45%)
Rogue 84 (4.06%; Poll: 5.20%)
Shadow Knight 88 (4.25%; Poll: 5.91%)
Shaman 212 (10.25%; Poll: 8.06%)
Warrior 109 (5.27%; Poll: 4.66%)
Wizard 85 (4.11%; Poll: 4.30%)

Monks, Necromancers, Warriors, and Wizards were all pretty spot on, within a percentage point, but we have fewer hybrids than predicted (especially rangers, which are less than half their poll percentage). However, overall I think the poll did a fair job of predicting the approximation of classes beyond just those of the forum goers.

It will be interesting to see how the class balance changes once people either settle into their chosen classes or abandon them.
